Hi Julie. Thanks for stopping by. You're absolutely right - nothing can replace the value of a library and the experience of exposing children to books early on. Visiting the library for story time and other events and checking out books is a part of our weekly routine and one of my daughter's favorite outings. I wouldn't trade that experience for anything. Isn't it great that the best things in life are still free!
The 'Grow Up With Books' rental experience is merely an alternative to buying children's books, which can be an expensive affair. Also, as Phil and Lara point out, for parents who don't live near a library or are not able to visit one very often, renting books online is an affordable option.

Why rent when you can use your local library for free? You get to browse, get expert book advice from professionals, and it is FREE! Books can get expensive but by exposing children to libraries early and often, we are creating life long readers and lack of money will never limit their reading access.
